The Dallas Board of Adjustment has made it clear they support the builders and could care less about the voices of those here in the neighborhood. All of the cases that have gone before them has resulted in the builders getting what they wanted regardless of the fact that most of the knew of the zoning rules prior to building their non-conforming structures. Builders now know that they can lie under oath and the board chairman, David Neumann, will take their word at face value without question and push the other members to rule in his favor. All we can do now is watch builders and report anything that is not meeting PD67 to the city immediately. If you see any suspicious structures being built or even advertised on their signage, contact saveetnp@gmailcom and we will make sure the city takes immediate action.

The incredible canopies that line our streets are one of the features that makes Elm Thicket/Northpark so beautiful. Sadly, every time a house is torn down the trees on those lots become endangered because some developers cut them down to make way for their oversized homes. Save Elm Thicket is taking photos of these beautiful trees to see how many survive the greed of the builders.
