Save Elm Thicket Flyers

Dozens and dozens of volunteers distributed Save Elm Thicket (SET) flyers announcing the city's community meeting. SET is dedicated to ensuring neighbors have their voices heard in this rezoning case.

The City of Dallas proposed rezoning signs went up throughout the neighborhood.

Official Proposed Rezoning Signs

The proposed rezoning signs were  placed throughout the neighborhood by the City of Dallas.

Bigger Yard Signs Ordered

Save Elm Thicket neighbors put their money behind saving their neighborhood. We've ordered a total of 400+ yard signs with $5, $10 and $20 donations. With the exception of the first signs, all the other orders have been for bigger signs so they can be easily seen.

The goal was for every senior who wanted a sign to get a sign without having to make a donation. Elm Thicket/Northpark is strongest when it's united.

1st Save Elm Thicket Meeting

Save Elm Thicket held its first meeting on Aug. 5, 2021. More than 100 Save Elm Thicket neighbors attended the meeting to learn about the zoning process and what they could do to Save Elm Thicket.

Save Elm Thicket Logo Created

By the end of July 2021, we had a volunteer create a logo for Save Elm Thicket. We have some very talented and generous volunteers.

Volunteers Distribute Signs

Save Elm Thicket had a dozen different volunteers helping distribute 100 signs in 30 minutes. From delivering signs to collecting donations, it was apparent that Elm Thicket neighbors are willing to work to Save Elm Thicket.
